Bartenders Liabilities
I've been behind the wood for over a dozen years now and have worked through all cycles of the economy. If you have never experienced a job such as bartending, then you really might be confused in thinking that it is an easy, fun, exciting, stress free job. It can be fun and exciting and slow nights might not be so difficult but, if you have yourself a good bartending job at a busy, popular club or bar, you need to be prepared to work your tail off.
Even with all the doom and gloom in the news lately I still don't see how a recession directly effects most people. Since purchasing alcohol from a tavern or other venue is generally somewhat expensive, people expect to get quality. Many would be bartenders get caught up in the myth of they won't hire me without any experience. Many bartenders are college students paying for their own college and living expenses.

You should always know the names and preferences of your regulars. You have to remember what ingredients make up hundreds if not thousands of drinks. In Flair Training you get to learn how to flip bottles in the air, slide them across the bar top and plenty of other cool bartending maneuvers that are sure to make you look more showman than mere bartender. Bartender salaries vary according to geographical location.
Those choosing to work for major hotel or airline chains may receive additional perks. People like to believe they are in control of their own thoughts and make their own decisions, but maybe that's a lie they tell themselves, so they don't face the truth. A not so well known drink is the Mulls and is a sweetened or spiced wine, beer or liquor, heated and served as hot punch. Below the bar of each station, there should be available cooled soft drinks like Schweppes, Russian Water, tonic water and the usual Coca Cola, Sprite and others.
It really is as easy as deciding that you want to do it and taking the steps to achieve your goal. Let's face it, to be good it takes more than just serving a good drink.
