Bartending can get hectic when people are crushed up against the bar trying to place their orders and the wait stations are filled with waiters and waitresses trying to place their orders. The profession of bartending is in the hospitality and entertainment field, and vocational and technical bartending schools can prepare you for an interesting and exciting career in the industry.

Very few careers can offer you virtually guaranteed placement in literally any place you wish to live and work in the world. Bartending is for a special type of person, you have to be a people person, good personality and all is a must to establish a good name for yourself in this type of business. Even with all the doom and gloom in the news lately I still don't see how a recession directly effects most people. A lot of times, bartenders are younger people in between jobs or still searching for what they want to be when they grow up.

Customers don’t want to look at someone that appears to have as many troubles as they do. People like to believe they are in control of their own thoughts and make their own decisions, but maybe that's a lie they tell themselves, so they don't face the truth. This is important to know, because not all bartending schools offer such intense hands on training. The essential part of a bar is the liquors.

Remember all the challenging situations you have been in. Make it your priority in your interview to make the interview feel more like a conversation.
